BCA Admission Process

The admission to the BCA (Bachelors of Computer Application) course is done in two ways:

Merit-Based: The merit-based admission to the course is done directly on the basis of the score obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Some colleges also prepare a cutoff list based on the qualifying examination for admission.

Entrance Based: The entrance based admission to the course is done on the basis of score obtained by the candidate at a national level, state level or college level entrance exams like IPU CET, SUAT, AIMA UGAT etc. Based on the entrance exam scores of the candidates, the institutions carry out the final selection process.
